We are looking forward to cooler weather in the beautiful Verde Valley.
We headed to Cottonwood, Arizona and Thousand Trails Verde Valley!

The campground has steep hills but we
walk every morning~ 2-1/2 miles
then again at night! |

Janet and I walked off trail down to the Verde River..
It was dark cause we had rain the first two
days we were here! |

The trail going down to the lake was
windy and solid rock! |
 |
Then we found some trails that went off of the
National land that went off road and we
had an adventure with the golf cart! |

We rode down to the Alcantara Winery
right out the gate and down a dirrt road! |

We kept going on the trails and eventually
we ended up at the river.. |

We are loving the weather here and just to see the
mountains everyday!
They look different everyday depending on how the sun or the clouds
shade then or brighten them up!
The views are endless out here...
