Jefferson, Ohio

Dave is totally feeling good again!  Y E A H !
We felt like getting out some in the morning and took
a ride to the Historic town of Jefferson, Ohio.
This is Monday the 11th

A very patriotic town, honoring law enforcement
military from all the wars...etc..

Look at the dates to see how far they go back!
Yes, that is our shadows in the memorial!

The court house built back in the 1800's

Bi-Centenial Memorial

The corner of Chestnut and Jefferson St.
The flower baskets were all over town!
Love the small towns!

This is a WW2, Korean and Vietnam Memorial

Local Church
Another local Church
The Police Department and Fire Department
The Old Mill
Covered Bridge

The Jefferson Depot~
Still active everyday at 1:00 and 3:00
Another church in town
Another covered bridge NW of town

Here we are at the opening of the bridge
Then we headed back to the Resort

This is the Ranger Station
Well, I got in the mood to do some cooking!
This is my stuffed peppers just before they
went into the oven.
I used my fresh Basil, Oregano and Thyme
that I am growing in a pot on the dash of the motorhome!
Yum they were Awesome!

It looked better before it was cooked
 but it surely tasted good!
This is one of my honey's favorite meals!
After dinner we went down to the lake and did some fishin'
Well, we are going to go hungry if we depend
on what we did not catch!
We sat down for awhile and still did not catch anything!
Dave moved to the dock and still nothing!
No fish tonite~ we were not the only ones
fishing and no one was catching anything!
Try again tomorrow!
